The below process should be followed whenever a complex is closed - usually as a result of inclement weather:
If a complex is closed, please email the League Administrator by 9:00 AM at the latest. As usual, always use the email@example.com address
If only some fields on a complex are closed, provide the game numbers of the games that are actually postponed. If an email only indicates that the grass fields are closed, there is no way of knowing which games are on the grass and which are on the turf;
Coaches from the closed complex must contact their opposing coach as early as possible. Please make sure that you receive a response that your message was received;
Reps must reach out to the referee that checked in with your club. The league will mark the game in Arbiter but this gives us a great double-check on the word getting to the referee;
All postponed games must be back into the schedule within 2 weeks - not actually played but back into the schedule. It is strongly suggested to get the games rescheduled quickly before all of the available field space is taken. Please remember to work with the club's field coordinator so that the new date/time matches up with ref coverage on that date;
Coaches: if you are unfamiliar with how to go about rescheduling your games, please discuss this with your club rep or president so that the process goes smoothly.
